VISAs/ETAs
Here are the VISAs or ETAs you must obtain before sailing if you are a US citizen.
Australia, New Zealand, and Brazil. Holland America will obtain the rest of the VISAs/ETAs on arrival for a fee.
HERE is the link to HAL’s World Cruise planning page, which provides the official VISA requirements all nationalties.
AUSTRALIA ETA
Australia ETA – You MUST use the APP to get this ETA – Get the APP HERE Cost $20 AUD
If you prefer not to use the app, you can apply for a Visitor Visa (Subclass 600) HERE, which typically takes about a month, costs $200 AUD, and involves additional questions and possibly a medical exam.
NEW ZEALAND ETA
New Zealand ETA – Here is the link to the APP for IOS – Android HERE
The Official New Zealand ETA site is HERE
Select TOURIST – not TRANSIT
NZeTA Fee:
– Through the Immigration New Zealand mobile app: NZD $17 (approximately USD $10).
– Through the Immigration New Zealand website: NZD $23 (approximately USD $14).
– International Visitor Conservation and Tourism Levy (IVL):
– NZD $100 (approximately USD $60), required for most visitors and paid at the same time as the NZeTA.
Total Cost:
– Via mobile app: NZD $117 (approximately USD $70).
– Via website: NZD $123 (approximately USD $74)
Vietnam eVisa

You need a single-entry Visa – $25 if you get it yourself
The ship can get it for you and will probably charge $55 for a VISA on arrival – $75 for a hard copy VISA (single entry)

In the past, Pillow Gifts were spread out over the voyage, but they are now delivered all at once, usually on the first formal night. Toward the end, you will usually receive a duffel bag and the cruise plate. People on segments will usually not receive all the pillow gifts, and may not receive any. This will vary from cruise to cruise. If you are on the final segment, you may get more,
as they won’t want to throw them away if they have too many.
