Day 45 – Cabin Crawl!

COFFEE CHAT

Naki Ataman was the guest at Coffee Chat this morning, and he does talk!  He was a very interesting guest and explained the origin of his “Around the World” show and how it used to be 2 hours long.  He shortened it to 45 minutes when he started performing on cruise ships.  He said that he doesn’t speak during shows to stay focused and help him stand out from other performers.

CROW’S NEST KNITTERS

Around 10 AM on most sea days, you will find a group of knitters working on their projects in the Crow’s Nest, taking advantage of good natural light.

CABIN CRAWL

This afternoon the Cruise Critic group sponsored a “Cabin Crawl”.  This is where people from the various cabin categories volunteer to hold an open house in their cabins and people have a chance to visit and see how other cabins are set up.  With this group of guests, most people have already seen the various cabin types, but what was interesting was to see the way people have decorated their cabins and any particular packing and storage tips and tricks they are using.  One woman laid all her special items on her bed to give everyone a chance to see what she brings and finds useful on cruises.

ABBA FAB

ABBA FAB returned to the Mainstage for their second and final show of this cruise.  They were fantastic as expected.  Toward the end of the show, the singers went into the audience but had to step over the legs of a guest who had fallen asleep in the first row.

ABBA FAB earned a standing ovation!
